We had the pleasure of working with Erin for our family portraits recently, and it was no mean feat! Three generations; 10 people, 3 of whom were children under 7 years old! Erin’s calm demeanor and natural ease with children transformed what could have potentially been a stressful experience into a really fun outing! With minimal direction, she was able to manipulate the group into some beautiful shots. I can’t emphasize enough how important it was to us that the children (2 of whom are generally very shy) were comfortable, and not once did they feel pressure to pose in awkward positions or postures; her photos effectively captured their natural charm and innocence. She was willing to do the standard type shots for us by request, but I particularly love her candid shots, she has an artistic eye, and her candids are the ones that turned out to be the “frame-worthy” photos.
