My last evening at The Wild Horse Sanctuary in Shingletown California finally granted me that low golden light I had been desperate for my whole trip. I took many photos but have chosen to add the ones to this blog post that reflect the light either in my favourite backlit type of shots or just the richness that the low sun brings to the horses coats. I have also added shots that are a little more typical to my shooting style. Shot close and cropped. A close friend said to me when looking at my shots that they were intimate. That was one of the nicest comments. That is exactly the shot I was there trying to take without it being so conscious in my mind.
I will have more blog posts of the sanctuary, I still have the rides and other things that I shot to share. But for now, some of my favourites from my last picture perfect night in California.
